Clear the path to a resilient future

We cut through the confusion about climate risk to find solutions that work for you

Understanding how climate change affects your operation can be difficult. There is so much data, and many divergent opinions. You wonder if you should take action now and how to do that. Or, should you wait until things become much more clear.

Extreme weather events are more frequent and are much worse than ever before.

The future is uncertain and yet you are still under the gun to plan and manage your operation, and you are judged on your performance.

We work with your team to understand your climate risk and build on that knowledge to make your operations and planning more resilient.

Things become clear when you understand the data, have explicit priorities, and a good action plan.

How can we help you?

Do you need to establish objectives to have more clarity?

Risk management supports sustainability. Sustainable development flourishes when integrated into the institution’s culture.

We use risk analysis to focus on issues that are key to decision-makers. We emphasize consultation with internal and external parties. This helps establish approaches that balance the needs of the company, its stakeholders, and the environment. We enhance current methods, only suggesting new options when necessary.

Do you need to assess the climate resilience of your system?

Climate change can affect all aspects of your operation. It presents new and bigger hazards, disrupts operations, can injure staff, and makes financial planning difficult. It brings on new challenges and opportunities. Institutions that plan for climate resiliency are better prepared to weather the storm and prosper.

Do you need to be more sustainable?

All too often, teams dive into climate risk work without first examining their objectives. The work is treated in isolation from the rest of the organization's core activities. As a stand-alone project, it may fade into obscurity. This is a waste of time and money. It is better to first set climate goals. Once everyone has a clear picture of what they wish to achieve in climate resiliency, they are much more likely to succeed.

Do you need to learn more about climate resilience methods?

Training helps develop skills in risk and vulnerability assessment.

We offer training in person and online and have worked across Canada and internationally. Our training covers climate change resilience and risk basics. We can tailor programs to address your specific needs.

Our Mission

We come to work every day to help our clients, colleagues and students become better prepared to meet the challenges of a changing climate.

Our Story

In 2002, we established Nodelcorp as an equal partnership. We combined our skills to offer consulting services in risk management, environment, sustainable development, and advanced education. Early on, we were engaged to produce tools for climate risk assessment. This led to many assessments of critical systems. Throughout, we shared our experience with other professionals to support measured and practical approaches to climate resilience.
